Six Degrees of Separation in Napier

I don't care what anyone says about social media making us less social...I disagree. Case in point. I have an old uni friend, Chris, who I lived with in college in the early 90s. I'd lost touch a long time ago, but we reconnected on Facebook a couple of years ago. A couple of days ago, while we were at an Indian restaurant, Josh checked us in on FB because the restaurant had free WiFi. Chris saw it and just happens to be in this very town, just for the weekend.

So we caught up. First time in 16 years. Awesome.

This is the National Tobacco Company building. One of the most photographed art deco buildings in Napier. The company no longer trades but the building is still an amazing representation of the architecture at the time.
